The firewood in the grid is air-dried wood, which is ideal for your fireplace or other open fireplace. If you regularly build a fire and have enough storage space / storage place, this is the ideal product for you.
The firewood is delivered in the length of 33 cm logs in a grid container. The grid container is high quality electrolytic galvanized and thus protected against corrosion. Space-saving, because quickly folded when not in use, equipped with a practical removal flap on the long side.
The grid holds approx. 1.3 ster (approx. 500 kg) of firewood.
The deposit on the grid container is CHF 200.- and will be refunded upon return.
Description
How much wood is a stere?
One stere is a relative measure and corresponds to one cubic meter (1m wide, 1m high, 1m deep) of stacked logs with a length of 1m. Depending on the type of wood, this is 400 — 500 kg in weight of dried wood. Depending on the length of the logs, the space requirement of the wood stack changes, as the spaces between them become smaller when they are re-stacked.
